The board of directors at Holston United Methodist Home for Children has a long history. The current lead pastor, First United Methodist Church, has been a shareholder at LBMC, PC, and a staff accountant at Ernst & Whinney. The associate pastor, Church Street United Methodist Church, is a graduate of Emory University's Candler School of Theology and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's Violin Performance program. The pastor at United Methodist Church is a graduate of the University of Tennessee's Business Adm - Accounting program.
