Joyce Johnson-Maples is an experienced HR professional with a diverse work history. Joyce currently holds the position of VP of Employee Care/Chief HR Officer at Holy Cross Services since July 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Human Resources at Detroit 90/90 - University Prep Schools from June 2021 to July 2022. From June 1998 to June 2021, Joyce held the role of Chief Human Resources Officer at the Coalition on Temporary Shelter (COTS). Joyce was also actively involved in various professional organizations, serving as the President of COPA (Coalition of Personnel Administrators) from September 2017 to October 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Human Resources from Spring Arbor University in 1997. In addition to their formal education, Joyce has completed several certifications, including "Ken Blanchard on Servant Leadership" from LinkedIn in January 2020, and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in May 2018.
