Randolph Cole has extensive experience in the medical field, starting as Associate Director Medical ICU at Presbyterian Hospital in 1988. Later on, they served as a Professor of Clinical Medicine at Columbia University in the City of New York from 1994 to 2004. Currently, they hold the position of Medical Director of Critical Care at Holy Name Medical Center since 2004.

Randolph Cole completed their Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (BChE) degree at Manhattan College from 1964 to 1968. Randolph then pursued a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1968-1969 before finally obtaining their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) at SUNY Downstate from 1969 to 1973.
