Dougal Clumpas

Dougal Clumpas is an experienced professional in the hospitality and beverage sectors, currently serving as a Brand Home Host and Guide at Holyrood Distillery since June 2023. Previous roles include Assistant Sommelier at Fhior, where technical wine knowledge was essential, and Sales Assistant at Royal Mile Whiskies, advising diverse customers on whisky selections. Dougal has also held front-of-house positions at Fhior as Chef de Rang and as waitstaff/bartender at Vondel_akl, developing skills in customer service and mixology. Dougal's foundation in the industry is complemented by a robust academic background, holding a Master of Chemistry degree from The University of Edinburgh and further studies at the Università di Bologna.
