Daniel Vu-Hao Nguyen

Daniel Vu-Hao Nguyen has a comprehensive work experience in the field of data engineering. Daniel Vu-Hao is currently working as a Principal Data Engineer at Homa since November 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Lead Data Engineer at Disneyland Paris from October 2021 to December 2022, where they also worked as a Data Engineer from June 2021 to October 2021. Daniel also worked as a Contract Teacher at Avignon Université from January 2021 to June 2021.

In terms of earlier roles, Daniel was a Data Engineer at Matooma from March 2018 to June 2021, where they were responsible for the development of the data stack and the implementation of data warehouse applications and pipelines. Before that, they worked as a Consultant in Information Technology at Klanik from October 2017 to October 2018. In this role, they helped a data scientist by building an application for visualization and benchmarking predictive models in the renewable energy field.

Daniel started their career as an Engineer at CGI France from March 2015 to October 2017. Daniel Vu-Hao also gained experience as a Student at Université Montpellier 2 from September 2012 to September 2015.

Daniel began gaining practical experience during an internship as an IT Intern at Transit Warehouse from February 2012 to May 2012. During this time, they developed software and scripts to automate tasks and worked with the GLPI system.

Throughout their work experience, Daniel has demonstrated expertise in data engineering, data visualization, and backend development. Daniel Vu-Hao has worked with various technologies such as SQL Server, Python (Django, Luigi, Pandas), Javascript (Plotly), and IIS.

Daniel Vu-Hao Nguyen earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from IUT MONTPELLIER-SETE in 2012. Daniel Vu-Hao then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Montpellier, which they completed in 2015. In November 2016, they obtained a certification as a CCA Spark and Hadoop Developer.
