Anja Höfer

Anja Hajdukovic is a dedicated environmental scientist with extensive experience in research, communication, and project management. Currently a member of The Explorers Club and a Research Assistant at Université de Genève, Anja leads research focused on the impact of heatwaves on lake ecosystems. Previous roles include Scientific Coordinator at the Office fédéral de l'environnement OFEV, where Anja developed communication strategies and contributed to climate change risk management guidelines. Anja's background also encompasses work with Fondation Pacifique on polar research, administrative support during the COVID-19 crisis, and environmental advocacy in various capacities. Academic qualifications include a Master's in Environmental Sciences from the University of Geneva, with additional studies at ETH Zürich and the Moscow State Institute of International Relations.
