Michael Huso

Michael Huso has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. In 2008, they began working as an Operations Specialist 2nd class on board USS Thach, FFG 43, where they served as CIC Piloting Officer during port visits/port departures and canal transits, and as Track Supervisor, maintaining LINK connection with other naval warships via HF and UHF frequencies. In 2013, they began working as a Peer Advisor for Veterans Upward Bound. From 2016 to 2021, they worked as a Rural Carrier for the United States Postal Service, where they timely and accurately delivered mail and parcels to 650 homes 6 days a week, and sorted mail and packages and arranged in delivery sequence. In 2021, they began a full time, remote, 20 week immersive program focused on preparation for joining the tech industry as an entry-level software engineer at Prime Digital Academy. During the program, they remotely collaborated with 5 developers to design and create a mobile-first application prototype that allows business professionals to find and meetup with other nearby business professionals, and led design and development of meetings views, associated Cloudinary API, and contributed to other app features. Michael is currently working as a Full Stack Developer for Homebase.

Michael Huso obtained a Full-Stack Software Engineering Certification from Prime Digital Academy from 2021 to 2022. From 2014 to 2016, they attended Johnson County Community College for Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance. From 2013 to 2014, they attended Metropolitan State University of Denver for Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, General. From 2012 to 2013, they attended Columbia College, Vancouver BC. for Generals.
