Jierui Qian

Jierui Qian is currently the Lead Architect at Parallell, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder/Community Manager/ Hotel Business Developement Manager at Homebloc from 2018-2021. From 2016-2018, they were the Co-Founder and COO at FlowingCell, LLC. From 2015-2016, they were a Jr. Civil Engineer at First HEC Engineering P.C., where they were responsible for building renovations, new construction, partial demolitions, asbestos inspections, zoning, underpinnings, steel beam and column calculations, plumbing, mechanical, and NYC Department of Building Filings. Jierui was also appointed as Assistant Project Manager for the renovation of a vegan-style restaurant on Long Island and interfaced with owners directly as the key contact person. Prior to this, they were a volunteer at The Bluffs Hospital & Health Care from 2014-2015 and a Peer Tutor at the University of Missouri from 2013-2014.

Jierui Qian obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil & Environmental Engineering and a Minor in Architectural Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
