Michael Patrick

Michael Patrick is a seasoned compliance and operational risk professional with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently serving as the Director of Compliance at HomeEquity Bank since July 2023, Michael previously held various leadership roles at RBC from January 2017 to April 2023, including Director of Operational Risk Governance & Methodologies and Director of the Control Room for Canada, where advisory support was provided for the operational risk framework and compliance in Global Investment Banking. Michael's earlier experience includes roles as an Economist in Regulatory Policy Analysis at the British Columbia Securities Commission, Advisor for Mergers & Acquisitions at TCFG Lugano SA, and Project Manager for Compliance/M&A at DKSH. Michael's educational background encompasses a Master of Laws from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School, an MBA in Finance from the University of St.Gallen, and a BA in English Literature and Computer Science from McMaster University.
