Welebir Jim

Welebir Jim is a Senior Loan Officer with HomeFirst Mortgage Corp., serving the Washington DC area and Florida since August 2020. Previously, Welebir held roles as Senior Loan Officer at Homeside Financial and Banc of California, and as Loan Officer at Citizens One, among others. Welebir founded Welebir Financial, Inc., providing residential and commercial real estate financing and consulting from 1995 to 2010, and established Welebir & Associates, Inc., focusing on commercial real estate development in the Washington DC area and Austin, Texas from 1976 to 1992. In addition to current consulting work with Welebir Consulting, LLC since February 2010, Jim has taken on a new role as a grandparent since March 2023. Academically, Welebir earned an MBA in Marketing/Finance and a BS in Business/Real Estate & Urban Development, both from American University.
