Melissa Baklas

Melissa Baklas is an experienced Project Manager and Team Lead at Homegrown Writing Collective. Previously, Melissa worked as a Marketing Communications Manager at Freedom Healthworks where Melissa developed brand strategies and managed communications to increase brand awareness. Melissa also has experience as a Podcast Manager, Communications Manager, and Client Marketing Manager, focusing on storytelling and developing communication strategies. Before that, Melissa worked at WISH-TV as an Associate Producer/Web Producer/Assignment Editor. Melissa holds a Master of Arts in Marketing Communications from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Indiana State University.
