Daniella Severs is an experienced professional with a strong background in grants management, program coordination, and marketing communications. Currently serving as Grants Manager at Homeless Children's Network since February 2020, Daniella previously held the position of Program/Training/Research Coordinator at the Institute for Women in Trades, Technology and Science from March 2009 to February 2020. Daniella's earlier roles include Marketing & Communications Coordinator at the Professional Beauty Association and Marketing Research Intern to Marketing Project Administrator/Web Content at Leica Geosystems. In the early stages of the career, Daniella gained experience as an Editor/Writer for the University of California's C.A.P.E publication and completed an Editing & Writing Internship at Interactive Media Institute. Daniella holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature and Writing from UC San Diego, completed in 2004.

Homeless Children's Network
Our mission is to decrease the trauma of homelessness and domestic violence; and to provide strength-based, family-family focused and culturally-appropriate prevention and intervention services to children, youth, parents, and families; and to increase the strength and effectiveness of HCN’s collaborative efforts. Homeless Children's Network provides comprehensive on-site mental health, family support, community development and education, and early childhood mental health consultation services for homeless children, youth, and their families at emergency, domestic violence and transitional shelters, as well as single room occupancy hotels (SROs), schools, childcare centers, and permanent supportive housing sites.
