Felipe Munhoz Afonso

Felipe Munhoz Afonso has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Felipe is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at HomeOptions since May 2022. Prior to this, Felipe worked at Santos Lab from March 2019 to May 2022 as a Front End Lead, where they were responsible for tech choices, team management, feature planning, and recruitment. Felipe also worked as a Scholarship Student at CAPES from March 2017 to February 2019.

Felipe has also been involved in mentorship roles. Felipe served as a Graduate Student Mentor at Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de São Paulo - IFSP from May 2018 to December 2018, mentoring a student in a Kotlin-based Android app project. Additionally, they created an Agile methods course as a Graduate Student Mentor at IFSP from September 2017 to October 2017.
