Rachel Howes

Rachel Howes has over 25 years of work experience in the hospitality industry. Rachel began their career in 1996 as a Contracts Manager for Gullivers Travel Associates. In 2004, they moved to Active Hotels as a Contracts Manager. In 2005, they were promoted to Director of Supply and Head of Hotel Contracting for Booking.com - formerly Active Hotels. In 2006, they became Managing Director for Booking.com Ltd. where they worked closely with the board and took over managing the UK business of 150+ highly motivated colleagues based in Cambridge, Dublin and London. Rachel successfully achieved YOY market growth in excess of 50%. Rachel also recruited, developed and built highly successful teams across EMEA despite difficult market conditions. In 2017, they took on the role of Director for Great National Hotels and Resorts. In 2021, they became a Business Development Advisor for Search Machines, and in 2022 they became a Board Advisor for CienDos.
