Laura Olstad has a diverse work experience. Laura started their career in 2011 as a Marketing Intern at the Duluth Children's Museum, where they redesigned brochures and conducted marketing analysis. In the same year, they worked as a Social Media Representative and Deckhand at Vista Fleet Harbor Cruises and Gifts, managing social media accounts and serving as a tour guide. In 2012, Laura worked as an Office Administrator at Metro Tent Rental, Inc., assisting with customer events and managing social media. Laura also served as a Sales Director at Homes For Heroes, where they managed sales tasks and provided support to affiliates. Laura then joined the Anoka Hennepin School District in 2013, initially as a Special Education Paraprofessional and subsequently as a Dance Team Coach. Laura is currently a Special Educ at the district, responsible for the education of special needs students. Overall, Laura has demonstrated their skills in marketing, sales, administration, and education throughout their work experience.

Laura Olstad earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from the University of Minnesota Duluth from 2008 to 2012. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching from Bethel University, which they completed from 2016 to 2018. Prior to their higher education, Laura attended Anoka High School from 2004 to 2008.
