Billy Van Ee, PHR, SHRM-CP has a comprehensive work experience in the field of human resources. Billy started their career as an Employee Benefits Specialist at Travelers in 1989, where they processed insurance claims and provided customer service. Billy then moved on to Affiliated Internists as a Human Resources Coordinator, where they conducted orientations and administered benefit plans.
In 1996, Billy joined RCI Recruitment Solutions as a Career Development Counselor, where they successfully obtained new client companies and recruited candidates. Billy later joined HomeSafe Florida as the Director of Human Resources, supervising staff and implementing personnel policies.
Billy then worked as the Director of Benefits & Administration at Management Consulting Group, where they oversaw compensation, benefits, and legal issues for three subsidiary companies. After that, they joined Brooks International as the Recruiting Director, responsible for researching, networking, and interviewing prospective candidates.
Currently, Billy holds the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at HomeSafe Florida, where they oversee all functional areas of HR and leads the HR Board of Directors committee. Throughout their career, Billy has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in human resources management.
Billy Van Ee, PHR, SHRM-CP, attended Grand Valley State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Human Resources Management in 1993. In 2014, Billy obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Additionally, in 2015, Billy obtained the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
