About the Position

Homestead Studio is a growing digital marketing agency in need of a Google Ads Account Strategist to assist with the management of our growing book of business.

In this role, you will work directly with clients, and assist with the development and execution of Google account strategy.

You will be supported by an executional team of media buyers, copywriters, and multimedia editors who are responsible for publishing & execution of your strategy.

A minimum of 1 year of Google Ads media buying & Account Management experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and our paid social team to develop and implement strategy across all Google Ads channels (search, shopping, display, video, discovery, performance max)
  • Be responsible for account performance & communicating wins, losses, and learnings to clients.
  • Manage execution of bids and budgets weekly for each account based on performance.
  • Manage execution of campaign development across all channels in Google Ads, including search, shopping, display, video, discovery, performance max
  • Manage execution of split tests for Display/Video campaigns & landing pages.
  • Manage execution of standard Google Ads workflows – negative keywords, keyword extraction, placement exclusions, audience testing, etc.
  • Manage workflows and tasks in our project management system, ClickUp.
  • Communicate with clients via Slack, video conference, and screen share video recordings.
  • Implement and enforce standardized naming conventions across our book of business.
  • Communicate text-based bi-weekly insights reports to each account via Slack.
  • Establish meeting cadences with our clients to review strategy & KPIs, and discuss executional progress.
  • Assist with the creation of standardized and non-standardized reports for clients on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a Google Ads-related role at a marketing agency.
  • 2+ years of experience working directly with clients.
  • 2+ years of media buying experience.
  • Above average written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or SQL.
  • Must be highly organized and possess strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with ClickUp or a similar platform is preferred but not required.
