Doug Earney

Doug Earney, CFA, currently serves as Chief Investment Officer at Homesteaders Life Company since October 2019. Prior to this role, Doug held various positions at Miles Capital, Inc., including Director of Fixed Income and Senior Portfolio Manager from October 2009 to October 2019. Doug's earlier experience includes working as a Portfolio Manager at Principal Global Investors from March 2000 to October 2009, an Investment Analyst for the pension fund at BP Amoco from January 1997 to December 1999, and as a Project Manager and Design Engineer at Amoco Corporation from January 1990 to January 1997. Doug Earney earned an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business between 1994 and 1997 and holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University, completed in 1989.
