Eugene Wong

Eugene Wong is the current Chief Financial Officer at Hometap. Eugene has over thirteen years of experience in the finance industry.

Wong began their career as an Associate at Silicon Valley Bank in 2009 and was promoted to Vice President in 2017. Eugene left the company in 2018 to join Forward Financing as their Director of Strategy, Finance & Analytics. In 2019, they were promoted to Senior Director of Strategy & Finance and then to Vice President of Strategy & Finance in 2020. Eugene remained with Forward Financing until July of 2022 when they joined Hometap as their CFO.

Prior to joining Silicon Valley Bank, Wong worked as an Investment Banking Associate at Goldman Sachs from 2014 to 2017.

Eugene Wong graduated from Needham High School and then Wesleyan University with a BA in Economics and Mathematics. Eugene then went on to get their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Yale School of Management.

Eugene Wong reports to Jeff Glass, Co-Founder, President & CEO. Eugene Wong works with Rachel Keohan - VP, Marketing, Miro Georgiev - Director of IT and Information Security, and Martha Carl - VP, Design. and Adrian Herr - VP, Finance reports to Eugene Wong.
