Alvan Aiau Yong

Alvan AIAU YONG is an experienced executive currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Hometime since July 2024, overseeing management for holiday homes and short-term rentals. Concurrently, Alvan is an advisor at Carinspect and Oyen® Insurance, and an angel investor in companies such as Andisor, The OneTwo, and StoryTiling. Previously, Alvan held leadership roles at PayCargo as General Manager for Asia Pacific and Australia, and at Airbnb, leading supply efforts for Australia & New Zealand and managing the Airbnb for Work initiative. Former experience includes Vice President of Global Sales & Program Management at Carlson Wagonlit Travel, as well as various positions at DHL Global Forwarding. Alvan holds a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
