Interim Chief, Eating Disorders Program at Homewood Health Centre

Yelena Chorny serves as the Chief of Addiction and Trauma Services at Homewood Health Centre since June 2014, where significant contributions include co-leading a brand repositioning evaluation, creating specialized programs for concurrent disorders, and successfully integrating inpatient services. Additionally, Yelena Chorny holds roles as Collaborating Clinician at Homewood Research Institute and Assistant Clinical Professor at McMaster University, emphasizing addiction medicine education. Previously, Yelena Chorny was a founding physician and medical lead for the Rapid Access Addiction Clinic, earning multiple awards for service development. Educational qualifications include a Global Executive MBA from the University of Toronto and an Addiction Medicine Fellowship, complemented by a comprehensive medical background, including a Doctor of Medicine degree from Queen's University.
