Homeworld Collective
Paul Reginato is currently serving as the Science Director and Co-Founder of Homeworld Collective, a nonprofit focused on advancing climate biotech. Paul is also a Founding Co-Director at Schmidt Futures and a Schmidt Futures Climate Innovation Fellow. Previously, Paul has worked in various research positions at institutions like the Innovative Genomics Institute, MIT, Wyss Institute, and Harvard Medical School, focusing on biotechnology and carbon management. Paul holds a PhD in Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Waterloo.

Homeworld Collective
Homeworld Collective is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that serves the needs of the growing climate biotech community. Our mission is to help climate biotech become a hyper-productive field, drawing lessons from exemplars like medical biotechnology and machine learning. Homeworld’s three focus areas are to 1) foster a robust community across researchers, entrepreneurs and stakeholders, 2) publish and fund roadmaps, gap analyses and technical guides to impact, and 3) fund early-stage impactful technology development and translatable research.
