Samrath Sinha

Samrath Sinha is a skilled research scientist and a founding team member at Luma AI since September 2022. Previously, Samrath was a PhD student at the University of Toronto on temporary leave from September 2022 to April 2023. Prior experience includes an AI residency at Facebook AI from September 2021 to September 2022 and a research internship at Amazon from May 2021 to September 2021. Samrath has also contributed as a researcher at the Vector Institute and as an undergraduate researcher at the University of Toronto. Additional roles include visiting researcher positions at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute and the University of California, Berkeley, along with a part-time software engineering internship at Aurora and a deep learning internship at DeepMap, Inc. Samrath holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto and graduated from Henry Wise Wood High School in 2015.
