India Nolen-Tuleja

India Nolen-Tuleja has worked in a variety of roles since 1999. In 2008, they began working as an Arts and Music Event Producer for Ivy Gallery/ Freelance. In 2014, they became a Creative Coach and Artist Manager for True Voice Coaching. In 2017, they took on the role of Production Artist Manager for Avranda Corporation. In 2018, they worked as a Musician's Guide for Musicians On Call, a Talent Booker for Bang Digital Media, a Manager for Dress for Success Denver, an Executive Assistant for Open Media Foundation, and an Executive Assistant for DoorGrow. Since 2019, they have been the Director of Operations for Fairwords, where they support a creative team, designs and maintains systems of organization, communication, and repeatable processes, manages onboarding of new employees and contractors, manages DEI education and training efforts, manages engagement surveys, collaborates with the dev team on SOC 2 compliance process, collaborates with the finance department, and creates a culture of service, rigor, and approachability.

India Nolen-Tuleja has a diverse educational background. India obtained a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin in 1999, majoring in Eastern Philosophies and Art History. In 2001-2002, they completed post-graduate studies in Experiential Education and Expressive Arts at Prescott College. In 2003, they completed a 120-hour training in Professional Coaching at the Co-Active Training Institute. In 2005, they completed post-graduate studies in Documentary Production at both Humber College and Maine Media Workshops and College. From 2011-2012, they obtained a Higher National Diploma in Vocal Performance from ICMP - The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance. Finally, from 2012-2013, they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Performance and Creative Research from the University of Roehampton. In addition, they have obtained certifications from LinkedIn (Human Resources Foundations, 2022), Global Tesol Institute (TESOL, 2000), and American Council on Exercise (ACE Fitness, 2008).
