Takeshi Nishimura has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Takeshi is currently the Chief Engineer/GL at Honda R&D, where they have been working since April 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Engineer from September 2021 to March 2023. Before joining Honda, Nishimura worked at Mitsubishi Electronic Corporation as an Architect from December 2017 to August 2021. Takeshi also held various positions at Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, including HMI Lead, SW Process Improvement Lead, Software Configuration Manager, and Project SubLeader, from July 2016 to November 2017, April 2016 to November 2017, May 2015 to June 2016, and November 2014 to August 2015, respectively. Takeshi started their career as a Project Engineer at Mitsubishi Elecric from April 2012 to October 2014. Prior to that, they worked as an Embedded Software Engineer and SW Project Leader at Mitsubishi Electric from November 2010 to October 2014. Nishimura also had experience as a Software Engineer in customer support at Qualcomm from October 2009 to November 2010. Takeshi began their professional journey at Pioneer Corporation, where they served as an Embedded Software Engineer and Project Manager from October 2003 to September 2009. Finally, they started their career as an Embedded Software Engineer at Fuji Xerox from April 1997 to September 2003.

Takeshi Nishimura earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physics from Hiroshima University, completing their education from 1993 to 1997.
