Yamamoto Kensaku

Yamamoto Kensaku has an extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Yamamoto currently holds the position of Vice President/Director at Honda R&D Europe since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Honda Motor Co., Ltd. as both Chief Engineer and Manager from April 2020 to February 2021. Before joining Honda Motor Co., Ltd., Yamamoto Kensaku served as Chief Engineer at Honda R&D Co., Ltd from June 2017. Yamamoto also held the role of Assistant Chief Engineer at Honda R&D Americas, LLC from October 2010 to May 2017, where they focused on the study of Mechanical hybrid System and Alternative fuel Engine. Their career at Honda started in 2001 as a Senior Engineer at Honda R&D, where they worked until September 2009.

Yamamoto Kensaku obtained a Master's degree in Information and Electronics from Yamagata University between the years 1995 and 2001.
