Yuki Sakai

Yuki Sakai has a diverse work experience in engineering and research roles in the technology industry. They currently work as the Chief Engineer at Honda, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Honda R&D Co., Ltd. as a Wireless Communication/Security Research Engineer from 2013 to 2022. They also had a brief stint at Honda R&D Americas, Inc. as a Wireless Communication/Security Research Engineer in 2015. Before joining Honda, Yuki worked at Fujitsu Semiconductor Wireless Products, Inc. from 2008 to 2013, where they held roles as an Application Engineer/Validation Engineer and as a Marketing Staff. They also previously worked at Fujitsu Laboratories Ltd. as a Researcher from 2004 to 2008, where they contributed to the development of software-defined radio architecture. Overall, Yuki brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field of wireless communication and engineering.

Yuki Sakai attended Tohoku University from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. They continued their education at the same university from 2002 to 2004 and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in the same field. In addition to their academic qualifications, Yuki Sakai obtained a Class B Hazardous Materials Officer License in July 2014.
