Jayagopal Thangavelu

Jayagopal Thangavelu is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in aircraft and automotive design. Currently serving as an Integration Engineer at Honda Aircraft Company since November 2008, Jayagopal coordinates engineering integration at the aircraft level and leads design efforts for components interfacing with various systems as a former Design Team Lead. Previous experience includes roles as a Technical Consultant at Ford Motor Company, where Jayagopal implemented Teamcenter and Catia V5, and as a Design Engineer at Autoliv and 3CRC Technologies Services Inc., focusing on safety systems and automotive engine components. Jayagopal holds a Master of Science in Integrated Product Engineering from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Annamalai University.
