Joe Murray

Joe Murray is a Senior Staff Engineer at Honda Engineering North America, Inc., with a long-standing career since 1990. Joe has held various leadership roles, including Supplier Development Leader, focusing on new function start-up and collaboration with engineering, design, quality, and purchasing groups to optimize die quality, cost, and delivery across eight North American production casting plants. Significant contributions include leading procurement initiatives for outside manufactured dies and components from international suppliers, improving current supplier performance, and developing new suppliers for die support in Mexico. Prior experience includes managing multiple engineering and production teams, overseeing the start-up of programming and machining sections, and extensive involvement in die project management. Earlier in their career, Joe worked as a Tool & Die Maker at Sander's Tool & Die. Joe holds a journeyman certification in Tool and Die Technology from Owens Community College.
