Michael Florip serves as the External Vice President for the Data Science Society at Berkeley since January 2023, where efforts focus on creating data-driven opportunities for the UC Berkeley community, including securing sponsorship from Uber. Experience includes project management for the Consulting Committee at Universal Health Services, as well as roles in various capacities related to data science, including Data Science Consultant for Teachers Without Borders and Futures Without Violence. Currently, Michael holds a position as a Machine Learning Research Intern at Honda Research Institute USA, Inc. and has been a Course Tutor for Data 8: Foundations of Data Science at UC Berkeley. Additional roles include being a founder of LearnPlex Education and various internships in data science, business analysis, and research at notable organizations such as Arm and West Monroe. Michael is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Science from the UC Berkeley College of Computing, Data Science, and Society.
