John Renfro is a human resources executive who currently serves as an advisor at Hone. John has over two decades of experience in the field, having served in senior leadership roles at some of the world's largest companies.
Renfro began their career at Zenith in 1997, where they served as Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources & Administrative Officer. John was with the company for two years before it was acquired by LG Electronics.
In 1998, Renfro joined Gateway as Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer. John spent four years with the company before moving to The Walt Disney Company in 2002. At Disney, Renfro served as Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer for four years.
In 2006, Renfro left Disney to join HP as Vice President, Human Resources. John spent six years with HP before moving to AECOM in 2012. At AECOM, Renfro served as Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer for two years.
In 2014, Renfro joined Capital Group as Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer. John served on the board of directors for Capital Research and Management Company while with the firm. Renfro remained with Capital Group until 2020, when they left to become an advisor at Hone.
John Renfro began their educational career by earning a B.S. in Administrative Sciences from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. John then went on to complete an Advanced Executive Program at the Kellogg Management Institute of Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
