Honey Insurance
Chris Armstrong has accumulated extensive work experience in various roles and companies. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as a Senior IT Consultant at IBM Australia, specializing in front-end and mobile development, including full-stack Java development and performance optimization. In 2015, they joined Pod Trackers as a Senior Full Stack Developer, where they implemented new functionality and problem-solved issues on a hybrid Cordova-based mobile application. From 2017 to 2018, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at IR, focusing on implementing JavaScript-based software solutions for a SaaS platform. In 2018, they joined GorillaStack as a Software Engineer and later became the Technical Lead, from where they transitioned to Honey Insurance in 2020. At Honey Insurance, they started as a Technical Lead and then took on the role of Staff Engineer. Chris'sresponsibilities include facilitating discussions between engineering and product teams, ensuring best practices and optimal technical design, and identifying and prioritizing platform bottlenecks for remediation.
Chris Armstrong attended the University of Technology Sydney from 2005 to 2010, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) / Diploma Engineering Practice in the field of Software Engineering.
