Ali Zonoozi

Ali Zonoozi is a seasoned machine learning engineer with extensive experience in data science and software engineering. Currently, Ali serves as a Staff ML Engineer at Q2, focusing on digital banking solutions, and has held a similar role at Sensibill, where Ali provided receipt management solutions for financial institutions. Previously, Ali was a Lead Data Scientist at Grab, where data-driven innovations were applied to transportation and logistics across Southeast Asia. Ali earned a Ph.D. from Nanyang Technological University, specializing in machine learning for large-scale temporal data analytics, and has worked with various research and engineering teams throughout their career, including a notable role at the Institute for Infocomm Research, where Ali was awarded the SINGA scholarship. Ali's earlier experiences also include roles in software development and data mining across multiple organizations, contributing to projects in business intelligence, fraud detection, and mobile applications.
