Joanna Guse's work experience includes the following:

- Full Stack Software Engineer at Honey Insurance since October 2020.

- Software Engineer at Macquarie Group from May 2018 to October 2020. Worked on developing a self-service automation platform, including backend API microservices and a framework for micro-portal UIs.

- Senior Associate: Software Engineer at Macquarie Group from May 2019 to May 2020. Worked on infrastructure automation, developing golang-based automation services for private-cloud VMs.

- Junior Software Developer at Macquarie Group from May 2018 to May 2019. Worked on migrating applications to the cloud and automating infrastructure-as-code, including developing a cloud-native RHEL-based SOE.

- Lab Demonstrator at the University of New South Wales from January 2015 to April 2018.

- PhD Graduate Student at the University of New South Wales from March 2014 to March 2018. Developed experimental setups for implementing adiabatic pulse sequences and investigating light-induced charge carrier decay dynamics in photovoltaic materials.

Joanna Guse has an extensive education history in the field of physics. Joanna began their academic journey in 2010 at the University of Sydney, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree. During this time, they focused on subjects such as physics and mathematics. In addition, Joanna also pursued a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) (honours) degree at the same institution, specializing in Quantum Physics. Joanna successfully completed both degrees in 2013.

Joanna's passion for physics led their to further enhance their expertise by pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at UNSW from 2013 to 2018. Their research and studies during this time focused on physics, in particular, the field of physics.
