Lawrence Gorton

Lawrence Gorton is a digital engineer with extensive experience in FPGA design and electronics engineering. Currently serving as Digital Engineer IV at Honeybee Robotics, Lawrence specializes in radiation-hardened FPGA design utilizing VHDL and Verilog. Previous roles include Digital Design Engineer at VadaTech Inc., where Lawrence focused on rugged data communication products, and Design Engineer at Northrop Grumman, contributing to satellite program demonstrations. As Engineering Manager at GORTRONIX, Lawrence oversaw the development of electronics prototypes, while earlier positions at TransCore and Aldec involved designing RFID systems and demonstrating FPGA design environments. Lawrence holds an Engineer's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the University of Michigan.
