Cynthia Diaz, M.A, CFEI has a long history of work experience. Cynthia began their career in 2006 as a Student Program Coordinator-TRIO Upward Bound Program at Santa Ana College. In 2011, they moved to Apple Inc. as a Specialist. In 2012, they began working at the Fully Employed Programs at Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business and Management as a Pre-Admissions Advisor/Recruiter, and also as an Assistant Director MBA Fully Employed Programs. In 2015, they joined Volunteers of America as a Project Director of the Upward Bound Program. In 2020, Cynthia founded Financial Space LLC, where they provide financial education to students from historically underserved communities. Most recently, in 2021, they joined HoneyBee Financial Wellness as a Financial Educator/Coach.

Cynthia Diaz, M.A, CFEI has an extensive educational background. Cynthia obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology/ Applied Psychology from UC Santa Barbara in 2005. Cynthia then went on to pursue a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from California State University Dominguez Hills in 2009. Most recently, they received their Certified Financial Education Instructor from the National Financial Educators Council in 2019.
