Mark Schloesser has extensive work experience in the field of security research and intelligence automation. Mark started their career in 2007 as a Security Researcher at The Honeynet Project, where they contributed to various projects until their departure date is unknown. Mark then joined RWTH Aachen University in 2007 as a Student Assistant and later became a Research Assistant from 2011 to 2012. During this time, they also served as an Administrator and Developer for mwcollect.org Alliance from 2007 to 2011.

In 2012, Mark joined Rapid7 as a Security Researcher and worked there until 2015. Mark then joined CrowdStrike in 2016 as a Security Researcher and progressed within the company to become a Manager of Intelligence Automation from February 2020 to May 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Intelligence Automation at CrowdStrike since June 2021.

Mark Schloesser attended RWTH Aachen University from 2005 to 2011 where they earned a Diploma degree in Computer Science. Prior to their university education, they attended Silverberg Gymnasium Bedburg Erft, although the specific timeframe and details of their studies there are unknown.
