Carolyn Stoner began their work experience as a Managerial Assistant at Columbia Artists Management in 2001. In this role, they handled contract tracking, artist travel arrangements, and served as the primary point of contact for presenters. Carolyn then joined the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra in 2003 as an Artistic Manager, where they were responsible for developing programming for various concert series and managing a budget of $1.5 million. After four years, they moved on to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in 2008 as the Chorus Manager. In this role, they oversaw personnel management for over 150 professional members and cultivated relationships with a part-time staff. Recently, in 2021, Carolyn Stoner became the Director of Arts at Honeywell Arts & Entertainment.
Carolyn Stoner obtained a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in Arts Management, Philosophy, Music, and Theatre in the period between 1997 and 2001. Carolyn also obtained the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in 2021.
