Daniel Schnitzer

Daniel Schnitzer is a seasoned professional in analytics solutions and business development, currently serving as a Consulting Advisor at Honeywell since August 2025. In this role, Daniel focuses on IP integration and knowledge transfer following Honeywell's acquisition of SparkMeter's energy analytics software and leads initiatives to develop strategic partnerships within the utility sector, aiming to enhance software analytics revenue. Prior to Honeywell, Daniel was the CEO of SparkMeter from August 2013 to August 2025, and worked as an Energy Analyst at DNV GL from July 2007 to July 2009. Daniel holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Engineering & Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Economics, and Environmental Studies from the University of Chicago.
