David L. Bingenheimer

David L. Bingenheimer is the current Chief Digital Information Officer at Honeywell. David has been in this role since August of 2017 and is responsible for the strategy of all manufacturing information systems and developing solutions that maintain the integrity of all manufacturing data across all of the Electrical Sector businesses.

Bingenheimer was previously with Honeywell in the same role from January of 2002 to July of 2017. During their time there, they were responsible for the successful deployment of all Oracle and SAP ERP systems across the sector, as well as all engineering system deployments. David was also one of the key persons to lead major manufacturing & engineering process improvement initiatives within the Electrical Sector.

David currently directly responsible for defining the capital investment required along with the gaining the final approval for the investments annually for all manufacturing systems and manufacturing process modernization efforts each year across the Electrical Sector. In addition, they control the key manufacturing and engineering system experts within information technology organization and has overall IT responsibility to define and drive improvements in manufacturing, planning, execution and distribution processes.

Bingenheimer is also responsible for managing the IT relationship with the Electrical Systems and Services Business (ESSB), and setting the IT strategy for this business. This position reports directly to the SVP, IT for the Electrical Sector, and functionally to the President of the Electrical Systems and Services Business (ESSB).

David L. Bingenheimer graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. David then went on to earn their MBA in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Cardinal Stritch University.
