Chris Lau

Chris Lau has extensive experience in the field of internal audit and risk management. Chris is currently the Head of Internal Audit at Hong Kong Aero Engine Services Limited (HAESL) since October 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Audit Manager at Bank of China (Hong Kong) from August 2018 to October 2022. Chris also held various roles at Pearson plc, including Asia Pacific Internal Audit Senior Manager from June 2016 to February 2018, Asia Pacific Internal Audit Manager from June 2012 to June 2016, and Asia Pacific Internal Audit Senior from May 2008 to June 2012. Before their time at Pearson plc, Chris worked as a Business Risk Senior Consultant at EY from July 2004 to May 2008, and as a Process and Analytics Specialist from June 2001 to June 2003, also at EY.

Chris Lau attended the University of Warwick from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electronic Engineering. Chris further pursued their education at the same university from 1999 to 2001, receiving a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management Science & Operation Research.
