Catherine Yien

Catherine Yien is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Managing Director at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) since September 2023, Catherine previously held the position of Managing Director at Rothschild & Co Hong Kong Limited from October 1995 to August 2023. At Rothschild (Hong Kong) Limited, Catherine's career spanned multiple roles, including COO, Director, Assistant Director, and various managerial positions from October 1995 to July 2013. Earlier in Catherine's career, research analyst experience was gained at Smith New Court (Far East) Limited from July 1992 to October 1995. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Imperial College London, where studies were completed from 1989 to 1992.
