Ian Chan

Ian Chan is an experienced finance professional with a focus on market data management. Currently serving as Vice President of Market Data Licensing at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) since January 2022, Ian oversees a team responsible for market data license applications. Previously, Ian held the position of Vice President for Market Data at Goldman Sachs, managing subscriptions for the Asia region from July 2018 to January 2022. Ian's earlier experience includes roles as Senior Market Data Analyst and Market Data Analyst at HSBC Global Asset Management, and as a Market Data Business Analyst at Nomura. Ian began the career at Thomson Reuters as Exchange Manager for Hong Kong. Ian holds a BBA in Finance from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
