Thomas Koehler

Thomas Koehler is a finance professional with extensive experience in post-trade services and business development. Currently serving as the Head of Post Trade Services and FIC Business Development at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited since June 2022, Thomas previously held roles as Senior Vice President of Emerging Business Development and Post Trade. Prior to HKEX, Thomas worked at Deutsche Börse from September 2018 to May 2022 as a Product Specialist in DLT, crypto assets, and new market structures, and at Clearstream, where responsibilities included managing investment fund services and global securities financing products. Thomas's early experience includes roles at Xetra, RBC Dexia Investor Services, and a scholarship position at CMCRC in Australia. Thomas holds a Diploma in Finance and Information Systems from Goethe University Frankfurt and has completed pre-diploma studies in Business Administration.
