Shamala Ernest

Shamala Ernest is an accomplished manager with extensive experience in corporate social responsibility and program management. Currently serving as the Manager for Group CSR and Hong Leong Foundation at Hong Leong Group since September 2014, Shamala is responsible for leading strategic plans, employee engagement, and sustainable CSR practices. Prior experience includes roles at the British Council, where Shamala managed education and society programs, and at the United Nations University, focusing on project management and stakeholder engagement within healthcare and climate change initiatives. Additional roles at Kannal Solutions, HSBC Data Processing Malaysia, and Maybank demonstrate strong capabilities in operations management, quality assurance, and financial advisory. Shamala holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development from University Putra Malaysia.
