Joe Logan

Joe Logan serves as the Chief of Police for the Honolulu Police Department, leading the 19th largest police department in the United States since June 2022. Prior to this role, Joe held various positions, including Senior Director of Military Affairs and Adjunct Instructor at Hawaii Pacific University, and Criminal Investigator for the State of Hawaii's Department of Attorney General. Joe's extensive military background includes serving as the Adjutant General for the State of Hawaii's Department of Defense, where responsibilities included command over the Hawaii Army and Air National Guard and emergency management. Joe's career began with 20 years in the Honolulu Police Department, where Joe specialized in criminal investigations. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Military Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Hawaii Pacific University.
