Paul Acquavella

Paul Acquavella is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in law enforcement and military service. Currently serving as a Police Sergeant for the Honolulu Police Department since August 2015, Paul Acquavella has held various roles including Police Detective and Police Officer. Prior to this, Paul worked as a Technology Consultant/Field Engineer at Caltrol Inc. from August 2014 to July 2020. Paul's military career in the US Navy spanned from June 1989 to August 2014, where roles included Advanced Education Specialist and Navy Operational Planner, with a notable deployment to Naples, Italy for European Ballistic Missile Defense. Paul also served as Executive Officer aboard the USS JACKSONVILLE. In academia, Paul contributed as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at UC Berkeley, teaching engineering-related courses. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the United States Naval Academy.
