VP Of Support Services at HonorHealth

Ben Lewis has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Ben started their career in the US Army as a SGT/Biomed, where they led a team and was responsible for installing and maintaining various medical equipment. After leaving the army, they worked as an Electronics Tech III at Lear Siegler Services, overseeing technicians and performing maintenance on medical equipment. Ben then joined Community Health Systems as a Biomedical Equipment Technician III / Account Manager. In 2008, they became an Independent Business Owner at Mid-South Biomedical. In 2014, they joined Novant Health as a Regional Director of Clinical Engineering, where they served until joining HonorHealth in 2019. At HonorHealth, they held various roles, including Associate Vice President of Support Services (SCSS), Associate Administrator, and currently serves as the VP of Support Services. In these roles, they have provided executive leadership, collaborated with hospital teams and physicians, and ensured efficient operations in various departments.

Ben Lewis obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Bethel University, College of Professional Studies in 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management from Austin Peay State University in 2006. In 2005, they also attained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from the same university. Additionally, Ben Lewis holds a Military Certification in Medical Equipment Repair from the Biomedical Equipment Repair School, USAMEOS, 91A MOS, which they completed in 1998. Ben has obtained additional certifications, including the Certified Hospital Operations Professional - Advanced from DNV GL and the Certified Healthcare Technology Manager (CHTM) from AAMI in 2015.
