Kiran Avancha

Kiran Avancha, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They currently serve as the Chief Innovation Officer at HonorHealth, where they are responsible for generating deal flow, investment strategies, and innovation infrastructure. They also hold the position of Chief Operating Officer at the HonorHealth Research Institute. In addition, Kiran Avancha is the Co-Founder and CEO of PriZm Tx, a biotech company focused on developing therapies for rare genetic diseases. They also serve as a board member at CenSyn, Inc. and as a seed investor at Chronus Health. Prior to these roles, they were involved in co-founding and serving on the board of directors at ClinSync Clinical Research Pvt Ltd. They have also held various positions in prestigious organizations such as Hartford HealthCare, University of Miami, Walgreens, Belcher Pharma, and Moffitt Cancer Center. Their expertise lies in clinical research, pharmaceutical sciences, and healthcare innovation.

Kiran Avancha, PhD completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree at Osmania University from 1997 to 2001. Following this, Kiran pursued further education and earned a PhD in Medicinal/Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of South Florida College of Arts and Sciences from 2001 to 2006. In addition to these qualifications, Kiran Avancha is a Registered Pharmacist, having obtained certification from the Florida Board of Pharmacy in 2007, and holds a certification as a Certified Clinical Research Professional from SoCRA.
