Matt Schneider

Associate Vice President: System Oncology Services at HonorHealth

Matt Schneider has a strong background in healthcare administration, particularly in the field of oncology. Matt started their career as a Radiation Oncology Manager at Hannibal Regional Hospital, where they played a key role in opening a new and advanced Radiation Oncology department. After that, they worked as the Director of Cancer Institute at St. John's Hospital, where they had oversight of the Oncology product line and managed operational and capital budgets.

Schneider then moved on to become the Administrative Director of Oncology & Digestive Services at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, where they focused on physician alignment and implemented performance-based relationships. Following that, they served as the Assistant Vice President of Oncology Services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where they were responsible for the NCI Designated Comprehensive Cancer Program.

Currently, Schneider is the Associate Vice President of System Oncology Services at HonorHealth. In this role, they lead the Network Oncology Services to provide evidence-based and personalized cancer care, while also overseeing one of the largest hospital-physician alignments in HonorHealth's history.

Matt Schneider earned their high school diploma from Christian Brothers College in 1990. Matt then pursued further education at Cardinal Glennon College Seminary in 1990-1991, studying theology. In 1992-1994, they attended St. Louis Community College and received an associate's degree in Radiologic Technology. Following that, Matt enrolled in the Medical University of South Carolina from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained a bachelor's degree in Radiation Oncology. Finally, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration from William Woods University from 2003 to 2005.
